Your book claims it was Netaji, not Gandhi, who got India freedom. Please enlighten on this. A succession of court historians have tried to craft a narrative that India had obtained her freedom entirely by the soft power of ahimsa (non-violence) and Satyagraha; and that hard power had no role to play whatsoever.

This is a huge sacrilege. No doubt both are the greatest leaders in indian history. Both are on extreme ends of path but ultimately leading to same goal. I personally am not a admirer of M K Gandhi but i will not have any bias in his role.

Gandhi had an important role in f. Netaji vs Mahatma Gandhi. One day a Punjabi refugee from Pakistan said that he would not like to listen to the Quran because it was the book of the Muslims who had driven him and thousands.

On Netaji's birth anniversary, an excerpt from Sugata Bose’s book 'His Majesty's Opponent: Subhas Chandra Bose and India's Struggle Against Empire'.

Mahatma Gandhi and Subhas Chandra Bose. Photo. The view of Bose’s daughter and sole heir Professor Anita Bose Pfaff, as expressed in my book LAID TO REST, is, ‘the only consistent story about Netaji’s demise remains his death in a plane crash on 18 August ’.

She fervently desires the remains be transferred to India. Dhar, in his book, Conundrum, has heavily suggested that Bose was Gumnami Baba. Dhar Netaji and Gandhi book to Twitter on Tuesday and cited an Intelligence Bureau report stating Mahatma Gandhi's claim of Subhash Chandra Bose being alive after the air crash.

The story of Netaji and Gandhi book political upheavals of the inter-war periods is enriched by Netaji's reflections on the key themes in Indian history and a finely etched assessment of Mahatma Gandhi's role in it. Bose wrote the first part of his narrative,as an exile in Europe and the second part, also in Europe eight years later.

New book claims Netaji's INA had more impact on British rulers than Gandhi or Nehru's non-violence By Rahul Kanwal Published: EDT, 25. The parting that took place in was a temporary one and if we study the relationship between Gandhi and Netaji, we will find that it was one the marked with deep mutual love, affection and.

Gandhi called Subhash Chandra Bose as ‘Netaji’ Addressing Gandhi through his speech on Azad Hind Radio on 6th JulySubash spoke about the purpose of seeking assistance from Japan and the purpose of establishing Arji-Hukumate-Azad-Hind and Azad Hind Fauj.

Netaji's grand-nephew Chandra Bose says Mahatma Gandhi knew something. "Gandhi insisted that the Bose family should not perform the shraddh because there is a question mark regarding Subhas Bose's.

This book is for those who wants to know about the truth behind our freedom. This book contains all the information regarding that era when we got freedom. Its a awesome book written by Gen. Bakshi Sir whose immense efforts brought this book for us. Apart from this paper quality of this book is premium & timely s: Netaji-second-from-right-and-Vallabhbhai-Patel-right-had-fought-a-legal-battle Before the elections, supporters of the BJP used Vallabhbhai Patel as a stick to beat Jawaharlal Nehru with.

The book quotes Netaji's close friend and political associate A C N Nambiar saying that Subhas was a "one idea man, singly for the independence of India, I.

Fondly known as ‘Netaji’, Bose used his methods of aggression against The British rule running parallel with the non-violence movement undertaken by Mahatma Gandhi.

He had been arrested multiple times but managed to escape every time from the prison and went to Germany and Imperial Japan to ask for their help for the war against Britain.

Description: The book tells the reader how after Second World War, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the tallest Indian freedom fighter, slowly petered out in captivity in former Soviet Union, while Kremlin, taking full military advantage of Bose's presence in their land created fear in American and British political and military strategists and.

The Netaji that Hindutva wants you to forget Had Bose been alive inand, by some quirk of fate, had he, and not Nehru, been the PM, he too would have begun by praising Mahatma Gandhi. While the declassification of the Netaji files has sparked off a massive debate on the need to rewrite modern Indian history, a yet-to be-published book- Bose: An Indian Samurai-by Netaji scholar and military historian General GD Bakshi claims that former British prime minister Clement Atlee said the role played by Netaji's Indian National Army was paramount in India being granted Independence.

Independence Day The films not only inspired the countrymen to fight for freedom with zeal and fervour but also spoke against the social ills plaguing Indian society. The films and songs. A yet to be published book by Netaji scholar General GD Bakshi has published conversations with Clement Attlee.

In these conversations the then British Prime Minister apparently said that the role played by Netaji's army was paramount in India being granted independence, while the role played by the non-violent movement was dismissed as minimal. Both are great heroes and deserve the highest pedestal in India.

Though, it is not arguable on who had the greatest love for their motherland (both had enough), I would side with the Mahatma on who was a better leader for India.

Bose was younger. The major difference from Gandhi-Nehru on one side and Bose on the other was the role of Congress during Second World War. Congress in due course came to take anti-British stance and Gandhi launched the Quit Indian movement in Bose operated on the ground that an alliance with Germany-Japan may give freedom to India.Gandhi wrote in the issue Harijan of () that ''Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's patriotism is second to none.'' (I use the present tense intentionally), he added.
